Filter Pipe Spiral Pipe Mill

​This filter pipe spiral pipe mill is HUAYE's featured production line that specifically designed and built for a customer in Shanghai, China.

Filter spiral pipes are normal spiral pipes with punched holes on the wall that used for drilled water wells.

​Old Production Process:

The steel coils have to be first open, punched and recoiled in a punch-recoil line. The punched coils are then put into a pipe mill to roll and weld to filter pipes. The process is complicated with two production lines. 

HUAYE New Production Process:
​By adjusting the tradition spiral pipe mill type and adding a punching machine in the entry arm, steel coils are open, leveled, punched, rolled and welded to filter spiral pipes continuously in one process and one production line.

​Line specification:  OD=Φ219-Φ630; wall thickness t＝3.0～8.0mm; coil width B＝max800mm

​Two types of holes, the bridge hole and through round holes, can be produced on the same machine by changing the tooling on the punching machine. ​

​In order to enhance the strength of the pipe, two sets of reinforcing rib rolling device were included in the machine and a maximum 4 ribs over one pitch can be rolled.
